During the past few weeks several persons (including myself) have seen a what appears to be a black coyote in the area of the Corbett School, Rickert Rd and Mershon. One citizen strongly believed it was a wolf. He showed me photos of a sheep and a doe that were killed on his property. Both had bite marks on the throat. This is just a reminder to take precautions to secure your pets and livestock. Small children should also not be left unattended.
