June 26: Artist E. Dan Barker Shows Immigration Mural in Oregon
July 14 reception: Art about illegal immigrants, the homeless, substance abuse and unemployment, the Tomsk Studio is presenting the art works of acrylic painter E. Dan Barker of Portland, Oregon.

the 12-feet long painting, Party Crashers“: A vast scene of 31 figures in a composition that addresses the value of media in an information poor society, this art work as well as many others of a social subject by E. Dan Barker will be on display starting on June 26.
Barker will show landscapes and abstracts as well in two other areas of the building starting July 9, and all the works will be seen through Saturday, July 28. There will be a reception on Saturday, July 14 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. where refreshments will be served.
The Tyoshuk Studio is located in the historic Springdale School in Springdale Oregon along the old Columbia River Highway. This scenic and historic road is between Troutdale and Multnomah Falls. The old school also houses Mia Frama, custom frame shop, the studios of artists Chris Tymoshuk, and Christine Singer. The building also houses Corbett's Children's Theater, Crown Point Country Historical Society, and both the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. The Springdale Art Network is a mutual support group that meets in the school.
