COLUMBIA GORGE ART FESTIVAL
May 19-20, 2012 at the Corbett Grade School 11am to 5pm
Located in and around the Corbett School District Campus
The Corbett Education Foundation will host its 14th annual Columbia Gorge Art Festival the third weekend in May.
Because CEF was awarded a Project Grant from the Regional Arts & Culture Council this year’s festival will be expanded to include local and regional musicians, actors and performers throughout the weekend too! Other exciting additions will be more food items, student art and performance, a family-friendly craft making area, games AND more!
We still have room for a few more artists and craftspeople, so give us a call or email if you are interested in being part of our fine event. Please locate the Arts & Crafts application on our website at
www.corbetteducationfoundation.org.
This year we are mixing things up with a bit of entertainment and we are currently seeking local and regional musicians and performers of all kinds to apply for stage time at this event. Find out more information by requesting a performance application via email to
dfontes@corbetteducationfoundation.org.
Partner organizations and community groups are encouraged to contact Dianna Fontes regarding tabling and partnership opportunities at this year’s festival. Please email
dfontes@corbetteducationfoundation.org This yearly festival provides all the operating funds each year thereby allowing Corbett Education Foundation to pass along 100% of all scholarship donations received from community individuals, families, and businesses directly to the scholarship recipients. Stop by our information booth to win raffle prizes and to learn more about this important organization.
Each year, we attract folks from all around the Portland Metro area who venture out to Corbett to see what our talented artists have to offer. If you are someone who loves art, we have watercolor and oil paintings, glass art, wood sculpture, ceramic and fabric art, jewelry, and so much more.
Stop by for our 14th festival and join the multitudes of people who grace our town during this creative event in support of the artisans and volunteers, all while supporting continued education of Corbett students.
This event funded in part by a grant from The Regional Arts & Culture Council.
