SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINE IS MAY 1, 2011
Multnomah County Rural Fire Protection District #14 announced that the deadline for applying for the Ferd Riehl Scholarship is May 1, 2011. The scholarship is available to any graduating high school Senior who resides within the boundaries of Multnomah County Rural Fire Protection District #14. and plans to study for a Fire Science Degree or a nationally certified paramedic program. Or the recipient must have demonstrated the he/she has participated by volunteering in the community while attending high school.
This year the scholarship will be worth $4,000 and is funded by the Fire Department’s Breakfast that is scheduled for June 4, 2011 at the Corbett Fire Hall. Additional information and applications can be obtained by calling 503-695-5540. (
