Hello Corbett Residents and Affiliates,

I’ve attached the November crime log.  I’m a bit late but I’ve been out of town the past couple of weeks.  There is nothing out of the ordinary to report for the month of November.

If anyone has one or two nice A-framed signs they’d like to donate, please contact me.  I’d like to repaint them and use them in the gorge/Corbett areas.  I’d like to place one in front of the Multnomah Falls Lodge to remind tourists not to leave valuables in their cars.  I’d like another one for our Citizen Patrol to be used when they monitor traffic speed in problem areas.

I received an email with a link to a news story regarding a new method of obtaining your credit card information. It was interesting in that the suspect could simply walk by you in a public place and scan your wallet or purse with a hidden scanner.   So far we haven’t seen this as a problem in our area.
