Corbett Democratic Campaign Rally, Canvass on Horseback

In the spirit of country living, Multnomah County Democrats from Corbett will hold a political rally and horseback "canvassing" event on Saturday, Aug. 16. They will be campaigning for Barack Obama, Jeff Merkley for U.S. Senate, for Suzanne VanOrman who is the 2008 Democratic candidate for Oregon House District 52, and for Carla Piluso, who is in a runofff election for Multnomah County Board of Commissioners Position 4.
The rally begins at 10 AM, at the Corbett Grade School parking lot, 35800 E. Historic Columbia River Hwy.
Ms. VanOrman and Ms. Piluso will be present to say a few words, and to "kick off" the horses and riders on their canvass routes over the roads of Corbett.
