Come to the best little Fourth of July Celebration around!

Join us in our hometown for the whole day where there is something for everyone. Start your day with the pancake breakfast, listen to the rumble of the hot rods in the five and a half mile long parade full of old fashioned candy tossing, take in the auction for a deal, a mole judging, a beef raffle, antique tractor show, a dunk tank, a pie eating contest and a talent show. Kick back to the sounds of Megan James and the Benders at the Beer Garden, Then…stay into the evening to enjoy the great music of Johnny Limbo and the Lugnuts with a refreshing smoothie in hand and a Mt. Hood view. Then top it all off with a breathtaking fireworks display watched with excitement and anticipation.

The volunteers of Corbett, made up of the non-profit Corbett Fun Festival Organization, the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Corbett Youth Sports, Kiwanis, Firemen, and the Corbett Boosters will be putting together another Extremely Big, Fun, Family Celebration. In it’s 38th year, the Corbett 4th of July activities attract families from all over the region. It is a total community event, from the volunteer firemen who meticulously place each American flag on a telephone pole lining the 2 1 D2 mile parade route that starts in Springdale, to the spectacular parade that is longer than the whole town directed by the annual parade crew, to the Boy Scout or high school athlete who serves a burger, to the famous big band–Johnny Limbo and the Lugnuts on the main stage organized by teams of volunteers who start fund raising in December with a Santa Breakfast.

Come experience the treasure and community spirit of Corbett Oregon on this special holiday. Admission Fees Taken At the Main Gate For All Day Activities

Corbett classes of 1977 and 1978 are combining for a class reunion after the parade.  I haven't seen anyone from Corbett for years and would like other alumni to stop by and say hi.  There is supposed to be a tent set up somewhere on the school grounds - look for us!
