Suspect(s) ran over a metal gate and a basketball hoop on Trout Creek Road. The vehicle is described as a dark colored late 80's Ford pickup truck with no canopy. It's slightly lifted with a grill guard and square fog lights. It may have been dark blue or black with damage to the front and rear. Please contact Deputy Graziano with the license plate and vehicle location if you see this vehicle.
The Sheriff's Office has started offering an hour-long "Crisis Management Response" or "Active Shooter" training to area retreat centers . We also presented the training to all of the Corbett School staff. Our next step is to offer a follow-up on site "Threat Assessment" of each location when requested. Citizen Patrol volunteers are now conducting random patrols outside of the schools. You'll see them wearing a fluorescent vest or jacket and a county issued photo ID.
