Last year the Kardashian family earned 65 million dollars.  For doing whatever it is they do.

The average teacher in Oregon makes $48,000 a year, plus benefits.  For teaching 30+ kids reading, writing, math, social studies, science, health, physical education, social skills, and critical thinking skills.  They also counsel students, provide friendship, band-aids, and sometimes even food.  They buy school supplies out of their own income and work numerous hours per week outside of their contract.  They do this because they believe in the power of education and they believe that the future of all of us depends on the future of each of us.

The Kardashians are fabulously wealthy for doing nothing.  The average teacher can barely afford to buy his own home.

If you bought your child a video game this year, why not pay a matching amount to the Corbett School Fund?  If you pay for cable television, why not pay a matching amount to the Corbett School Fund?  If you go out to eat once a month, why not pay a matching amount to the Corbett School Fund?

The aforementioned expenditures will give your child temporary pleasure.  A quality education will provide your child with the knowledge and wisdom they need to lead a happy and fulfilling life.
