Deputy Rocky Retiring
9/14/20
Hello Corbett-ites,
I'll be retiring this Wednesday 9/16/20 after 27 years with the Sheriff's Office. My assignment as your Community Resource Deputy for the past 11 years (plus 6-7 years as the Corbett School Resource Officer) have been my best assignments as a deputy.
It's a very "happy-sad" time for me and my family as we flip to the next chapter in life. I've developed many friendships in Corbett over the years and it's hard to imagine leaving. Corbett has been like my second home.
My decision to retire was a bit quicker than I had anticipated, but the timing seems good for our family. I'll do my best to say goodbye to as many of you as I can during these last few days.
This is definitely a challenging time with the pandemic, civil unrest and now the fires; some caused by accident and some caused intentionally.
The Sheriff's Office has not selected a replacement for me at this time, however, hopefully this process will begin soon. The Citizen Patrol volunteer program is still on hold due to the pandemic and civil unrest.
I have hundreds of photos that I've collected over the years, to include the one of my patrol car high-centered on the historic rock at Troutdale Rd. and Stark. Please [see below] for a few of my favorites (the rock is not included!)
If you need to report an incident, please call either 911 or the non-emergency number: 503-823-3333.
It has been a pleasure to work for all of you!
Deputy Joe "Rocky" Graziano

Rocky,
You are going to be missed by many! Our oldest son, who is now 20, still remembers getting to interview you in elementary school! Thanks for always being available for questions and for getting back to us when we emailed, texted or called. Thanks for working to keep our community safe all these years and thank your family for all of us as well. We hope you have a wonderful time in retirement. Be well, stay safe and many thanks again.
Best wishes,
Mindy and Family
