This year don’t drive so far for your 4th of July! Get in your car and take a short, easy cruise from Gresham, Sandy or Portland to take in a REALLY BIG Celebration in a REALLY SMALL Town.

Join us in our hometown for the whole day where there is something for everyone. Start your day with a little exercise in the new running races, fill up at the pancake breakfast, listen to the rumble of the hot rods in the five and a half mile long parade full of old fashioned candy tossing, take in the auction for a deal, a mole judging, a Disneyland raffle, climb the rock wall, then take a shot at the country pie eating contest or talent show.

Kick back to the sounds of the Megan James Band at the Beer Garden.  Then…stay into the evening to enjoy a homemade dinner, add the great music of Johnny Limbo and the Lugnuts with a refreshing smoothie in hand with a Mt. Hood view.  Top it all off with a breathtaking fireworks display watched with excitement and anticipation.

The volunteers of Corbett, made up of the non-profit Corbett Fun Festival Organization, the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Corbett Youth Sports, Kiwanis, NERT team, Firemen, and the Corbett Boosters will be putting together another Extremely Big, Fun, Family Celebration.  In its 39th year, the Corbett 4th  of July activities attract families from all over the region.

It is a total community event, from the volunteer firemen who meticulously place each American flag on a telephone pole lining the 2 ½ mile parade route that starts in Springdale, to the spectacular parade that is longer than the whole town directed by the annual parade crew, to the Boy Scout or the school athlete who serves a burger, to the famous big band–Johnny Limbo and the Lugnuts on the main stage.  Organized by teams of volunteers who start fund raising in December with a Santa Breakfast.
