The Sheriff's Office Citizen Patrol is working with Multnomah County Emergency Management to secure grant funds for a Corbett-based radio repeater. This repeater would give the Citizen Patrol volunteers the ability to communicate throughout the gorge during
patrols or a natural disaster. Volunteers were also recently trained to issue parking warnings. It's hopeful that this will assist deputies in alleviating some of the parking issue throughout the gorge during the busy summer months. It's possible that they may receive a limited commision to issue actual parking citations in the future. If you would like to volunteer or donate to the program please contact Deputy Graziano.
