From a Corbett Community Member:

" As happens in life, we needed to put my mom's dog to sleep yesterday.  Her companion of nearly 15 years was a great loss.  Today, living alone, she feels that she wants to fill that void.  If anyone knows of a gentle, quiet, senior dog ( 8yrs or so ) looking for a home, please let me know.  Her previous dog was a black lab mix.  She interested in a similar dog, though I think she needs something smaller. "

UPDATE:

They selected a dog from the Humane Society and brought him home yesterday, a 5 yr. old corgi mix. He seemed happy to have a breeze in his face and grass under his paws.

" I spoke to my mom this morning, and the little guy was fast
asleep on her chair. Thanks again for your support and help. I'm thankful for the community spirit we have here"
