CSD Community Day of Service

Community Day of Service that will be held on the campus of the Corbett Schools on May 7.

The event is going to build on what we did last year with focus on grounds improvements. The work needed at Corbett is more than any individual group could handle, so we decided to invite the entire community. 50 volunteers have already signed up, and that is why I am writing to you. If you haven't sent in the registration form yet, I'd like to ask you, your family and friends, to join us on this special day. Some of the day's activities will be:

•   The Service Day is from 9-12
•   You can choose your area of interest (we especially need your, wheelbarrows, shovels and rakes, although you could also help wash windows).
•   Lunch is served for all volunteers at 12.
•   The entire community is invited, including area churches, students, the local scout troop, parents, organizations, teachers, friends, etc.
•   Certificates of Community Service will be given to all volunteers.

You can hand carry the registration to the event!
