If you’ve attended Corbett’s premiere fundraiser in the past, you’ve seen how the event has grown. If you’re attending for the first time, we hope you enjoy the excitement of the evening and the incredible sense of pride Corbett has in its sports programs. “Old Hollywood Glamour” is the theme this year so breakout your Hollywood wardrobe. You might just see Marilyn Monroe or Humphrey Bogart! No Hollywood attire? No worries – come out and join us for what is sure to be a great evening.
We welcome Brad Caldwell, Corbett High School Alumni, who hosted our first two events, back as our auctioneer. Take a moment (or two) and check out the always growing auction item catalog. (To do so, just click on the catalog tab at the top.) As the list grows you will find vacation homes, golf trips, restaurant gift cards, and once in a lifetime events you won’t want to miss. ** If you would like to donate to the cause you can do so by clicking on the donor tab.
This evening benefits all the athletic programs at Corbett from Kindergarten – 12th grade. However, without the primary funding coming from the Booster Club our Middle School and JV programs may not exist. The Corbett Booster Club and Corbett Youth Sports are working hand in hand arranging auction items, transforming the gym, and planning a great meal that is served by the athletes benefiting from your contribution. As current Corbett athletes host the evening, our past greats will be inducted into the Hall of Fame. During this time the crowd can relive the early years of Corbett sports. This is truly an evening of entertainment and socializing for our Corbett community and our neighboring communities that support Corbett’s athletes.
Building on last year’s success, our goal for the 4th annual Red and Black is $40,000. By opening your wallet, your financial support helps to continue Corbett’s outstanding sports programs.
