Earlier today the CSD sent out this updated plan we agreed upon over the weekend: A message from CORBETT SCHOOL DISTRICT 39: Due to forecasted rain/ice/snow on Wednesday night and Thursday morning the special Board meeting planned for this week will either take place on Wednesday night at 7:00 PM or Thursday Night at 7:00 PM in the MPB. IF school is open on Wednesday and conditions are safe after school the meeting will be held that night. However, if school is closed or it is unsafe Wednesday night the meeting will occur Thursday night weather permitting. IF both nights are weathered out it will be rescheduled to a different date. Furthermore, if both nights are weathered out for the Board meetings, then we will also have to cancel and reschedule the Friday community meeting. This is because we are upholding the agreement made at the beginning of this process that Rob Saxton will present his report and presentation to the School Board in a public meeting first, and then in the community meeting.
