Update for Corbett area:

Thank you all for your prayers and offers of help, food and love. This is Kerrie Okada's home of 30 years (She's the niece of the Mershon Uyetakes) The wind hurled this huge fir right into her bedroom, impaling her chest as she slept. Thanks to the rapid trauma response of Multnomah Co. Sheriffs, AMR, Corbett Fire and Rescue she is alive and recovering from her emergent surgery at Emanuel. Bless you all! Omg. We're so lucky to live here! Even despite the freaking frightening East wind sometimes.

Another fir down- it happened right in front of me!! Luckily the wind threw it into the creek instead of into me and the house!
