Some highlights:

TheSheriff's Office has initated a new "vacation house check" procedure for citizens requesting this service. You can do this two ways. OPTION 1: Click this link: http://www.mcso.us/profiles/pdf/vacation_home_check.pdf  and email the form to Records at: vacationhomecheck@mcso.us.If you can’t remember that link, then go to www.mcso.us  ---thenclick FAQ---then click OTHER---Then click “How do I request home checks while I’m away on vacation?” OR OPTION 2: Contact our Records Unit at: 503-988-7300 and they can do this for you.

The Sheriff's Office Citizen Patrolis seeking volunteers to assist in patrolling the gorge and Corbett community. You can visit their new website to learn more about the program at: www.mcsocp.weebly.com. This is the last chance for teenagers, ages 14-17, to sign up for the Sheriff's Office Youth Academy. Teens attend weekly trainings through May that familiarize them with the many aspects of law enforcement. The first class is 4/13/16. Applicants must pass a background check.
