Corbett School FundDue to dramatic reductions in state funding for K-12 education, the Corbett School District, like every district in Oregon, is facing a significant budget shortfall next year (estimated at ~$575K based on current state funding projections). in response, the CSD is considering a number of options for managing this shortfall ranging from deep cuts in existing personnel and programs to bringing in new revenue by, for example, expanding the existing charter school or initiating alternative programs.  Notably, the district has chosen not to consider placing an operating levy on the spring ballot as an alternate source of revenue..
